Annual dental exams are crucial for preventing oral health complications and ensuring the wellness of your teeth, gums, and jaw. A comprehensive oral exam at Fresh Dentistry involves screening for tooth decay, periodontal disease, cancer of the mouth, and numerous other issues that may be affecting your oral and general health. Generally performed at twice-yearly teeth cleaning appointments, oral exams give Dr. Candace Brown a chance to look at the teeth, gums, bite, jaw joints, and additional oral structures for signs of dental issues so early treatment can begin. To ensure the wellness and appearance of your mouth, come in for an annual oral exam at our Cedar Hill, TX practice at your earliest convenience.

What Can I Expect During My Dental Exam?
To start your dental exam, a member of our Cedar Hill, TX dental team will go over your medical history, as well as any ongoing dental concerns or cosmetic goals that we should keep in mind. At specific routine appointments, a set of digital x-rays might be ordered to give Dr. Brown more awareness of the health of your enamel and oral bone structures. She can then screen for oral cancer, check the balance of your bite and jaws, and look at your teeth for breaks and the comfort of any dental restorations. A gum evaluation will also be conducted to identify possible indications of periodontal disease.
Fresh Dentistry Reviews
Dr. Cann and her staff are AMAZING!! Currently visiting and needed a filling and I was immediately put on the schedule....definitely worth the drive! From the time I walked in nothing but hospitality! The staff are all pleasant and inviting (most comfortable waiting room chairs I've ever sat in and Dr. Cann's music is fantastic!). My dental assistant Angela did the best dental exam and Dr. Cann is so pleasant and very thorough! She listened to my concerns, explained all my options and did a beautiful job on my tooth😁. They even called the next day to see how I was doing. Looking to move to Texas and I've already found my dentist! Quality all around! I highly recommend Dr. Cann and her team!!
Dr. Brown is great and her staff is awesome as well. My initial visit was great and the hygienist did an excellent job cleaning my teeth. I came back for two fillings and a root canal. I was terrified but Dr. Brown made me feel so comfortable during the procedure, she explained everything the entire time, and No Pain at all! I trust her with my dental care and I’m happy I found her.
I recently had a great experience at Fresh Dentistry and would highly recommend their services to anyone in need of dental care. The staff was friendly and professional, making me feel comfortable and at ease throughout the entire process. The dentist was attentive and knowledgeable, providing me with clear explanations and recommendations for my dental work. The office was clean and well-maintained, and the appointment was efficient and on time. I am extremely satisfied with the results of the dental work done, and I will definitely be returning to Fresh Dentistry for future dental needs. Thank you to the team at Fresh Dentistry for a positive and pleasant experience!
MY VISIT LAST WEEK WENT WONDERFUL! I'M NOT A FAN OF DENTAL CARE, HOWEVER THE STAFF AND MY DENTIST WERE COMPASSIONATE, CARING, AND GOOD LISTENERS. THE OFFICE ALSO REFLECTED THE SAME WARMING AND INVITING TONE AS THE STAFF. DR SCROGGINS WAS WONDERFUL LISTERNER AND PROVIDER. I LOVE THAT HE ASKED ME ABOUT MY DENTAL CONCERNS AND MY GOALS FOR CARE. WE DISCUSSED HIS FINDINGS AND MAPPED OUT A PLAN OF CARE FOR ME. WHEN THEY OFFER ME A BLANKET, MY FEAR WENT DOWN, BECAUSE IT SHOWED ME THAT THEY CARE ABOUT THEIR CLIENTS COMFORT!!!!! I'M EXCITED ABOUT DENTAL PLAN DUE TO THE CARE I RECEIVED. I WOULD GIVEN EXTRA STARS IF IT WAS POSSIBLE!!! SHEILA C.Mc
